My little Dog Is Making Big Steps In His New Life!

I'm so proud of my little dog Dash. He was in a puppy mil for the first 6 years of his life. When I brought him home for the first time in September he was really scared/shy of everything around him. Dash wouldn't eat the dog treats I had for him. He wouldn't chew on bones. Dash was nervous of my other animals. Dash would have accidents in my house.

Now I have had him for 3 and half months and Dash is making big steps to a normal dog life. I crate Dash now and there has been no accidents in my house. Dash picked up a stuffed duck for the first time and chewed on it. Dash is very close with my other dog. Dash is slowly learning different commands. Dash loves different treats,, and he is willing to try new treats for the first time. I believe Dash is making these big changes so fast because he knows he is loved and he trust whats around him.

I am sometimes in shock that an animal that has been through a rough start to live can turn around and trust again. I know I don't have kids but as a parent to my animals it's been so great seeing my little dog loving life and bonding with my other animals.
