I'm really excited that Dash has made such a great turn around since September. It was really exciting to watch Dash explore the outdoors on his own for a few mins without wondering where I was.I know I don't have any kids but when I first brought Dash home in September he was kind of like my new born because he was so scared,, now going into May he has come out of his shell and has really grown into a confident dog. Every Day Dash is wagging his tail more and more. Dash knows he is home safe with me. He is so happy to be in my home.
Dash has a heart that is bigger then he is. He cares so much about his sister Kenya. Dash really loves getting as close as he can to Kenya so he can get those kisses from Kenya and so he can play with her. He wasn't able to do that stuff in September but now everyday he wakes up the first thing he does is look for Kenya to get that kiss and greeting.
There are people out there who are afraid to adopt animals who have been abused or gone through the puppy mills, or even left behind. Don't be afraid to adopt a animal that has been through tough times. One of the best things I have ever done was rescuing my dog Dash from my shelter. Dash was in a puppy mill for 6 years and now he is the most spoiled dog but he deserves it after what he has been through. I believe that animals who have been rescued from the pain make the best pets in the world. They are looking to give that owner twice the love and happiness.
